A Journey Through the North Atlantic
Our Nordic Cruise in 2026 became much more than a holiday. It was a journey through some of the most remarkable landscapes in Northern Europe, taking us from Scotland to Iceland and beyond. Along the way, we experienced dramatic coastlines, remote villages, ancient glaciers, powerful waterfalls, and moments of quiet reflection that reminded us how extraordinary our world truly is.
Each destination offered its own story. In the Scottish Highlands, we followed hidden roads through misty landscapes, discovering castles, lochs, and breathtaking viewpoints. In Iceland, we stood before erupting geysers, explored glaciers by 4×4, admired the magnificent Dynjandi waterfall, and visited remote communities where life is shaped by nature and resilience. Everywhere we traveled, we found inspiration not only in the landscapes but also in the people who call these remarkable places home.
Photography became a way to slow down and fully experience each moment. Using my Fujifilm X-E5 and its film simulations, I focused on capturing scenes as they felt rather than relying on extensive editing afterwards. From the wild beauty of Iceland’s Highlands to the peaceful charm of small fishing villages, every photograph in this collection represents a memory, a story, and a moment worth preserving.
More than anything, this journey reminded us of two things: how beautiful our planet is, and how fragile it can be. Standing beside ancient glaciers, looking across endless fjords, and witnessing nature at its most powerful left us with a deep appreciation for the landscapes we were fortunate enough to experience—and a renewed sense of responsibility to protect them for future generations.
